So, you want to create your own website? Well, for most people that are starting some sort of business, they know they need one...but they're not that technical. That's where solutions like Wix comes in.
If you're a small or local retail business or you're an agency providing simple templated professional websites for local businesses is an excellent solution. It provides a lot of simple tools and features that allows someone that is not a designer or programmer to go from nothing at all to a live website in a very short amount of time.
Now, if you are an "internet marketer" or in the affiliate marketing or make money online space, Wix is probably not the best solution for you, because in my experience they have a lot of unnecessary upsells on the backend. So, if you're building niche affiliate SEO or authority blogs or websites, it's a much better idea to just pay for your own separate domain and hosting and install Wordpress. You'll save quite a bit more money this way, but again, for the complete non-techy person who is just looking to setup a quick an easy website without having to have any technical skills whatsoever, Wix is a great solution.
When it comes to SEO, making sure your links and pages get indexed is a big of ensuring your website ranks high in the major search engines. Now, websites will eventually get indexed over time anyway, however, sometimes it's good to give them a little boost, especially if you're doing affiliate SEO or ranking sites for clients and you need results a bit more quickly.
For that there are link indexing services, and for the longest time I personally didn't see much of a point to use them. I thought they were mainly for blackhat SEO, which I wasn't much involved in. But recently I tried out a service called Backlinks Indexer, which was created by a well-respected person in the SEO community, and it actually does work.
The great thing about these services is that they're extremely affordable, and with Backlinks Indexer, it's pretty much set and forget. It's gets your newly published pages and posts indexed much faster and I've seen great results.
So, if you're heavily involved in SEO and have lots of affiliate sites or a network of large authority sites, or you are doing SEO for clients, or you're involved in blackhat SEO and run linkbuilding softwares like Magic Submitter and SEnuke, then you might seriously consider investing in one of these link indexing services.
If you are involved in the SEO space, one of the most important components is finding the right keywords to go after. A lot of times, however, that can be pretty tricky and you want to make sure that you're not selecting keywords that will take you forever and ever to rank for. Because the name of the game online is traffic. As long as you're getting real visitors to your site, there's a very good chance you're going to eventually make sales. So, you want to pick keywords that are going to both bring you visitors and that you can also rank one page one for in a relatively reasonable amount of time.
Now, when it comes to keyword research tools, there are literally dozens that do mostly the same things, you just have to pick the one that best fits your needs, that works, and that you like to use. Some of the more popular ones include Long Tail Pro and SECockpit, however, a very prominent SEO friend of mine who currently does over $40k/month from just SEO alone, highly recommends Traffic Travis.
Traffic Travis has actually been around for quite some time, I just have never heard other marketers talk much about it or promote it. They do have a FREE version for you to download and try, but I also know they have a paid version, which probably has a lot more features and benefits. So, if you're serious about being the best at your SEO and you're looking for a keyword research tool that can give you an edge over your competition, check out Traffic Travis.
Viral content. While it's all the craze, it's kind of tough to consistently come up with catchy headlines and interesting topics to write about. Luckily, there's a cool tool called Buzzsumo, which shows you tons of trending articles about a particular keyword or topic or on a specific site.
This is an especially useful tool for bloggers, people that manage and curate for viral sites and networks, or agencies that are responsible for posting content that will be well liked and shared on social media.
So, if you are any of the above mentioned groups, Buzzsumo will definitely be a great investment. If not, it probably won't. However, if you're having writer's block on what next interesting blog post to write about, you can still use it's search to get a handful of popular trending topics to use as ideas.
Content is one of the most important things when it comes to SEO and getting indexed and ranked within the search engines. Unfortunately, content is also one of the most expensive costs involved in SEO, at least for well written unique articles.
Luckily, there are solutions like Article Builder, that create quality spun content in just a few clicks. You can use this content for your autoblogs, which you can sprinkle with affiliate links, or also to make your niche PBN (private blog network) sites look a little more natural with highly relevant content related the your niche.
So, if you're involved in SEO in any way and are looking for a solution to help you be more efficient and reduce costs when it comes to create content for your web properties, definitely check out Article Builder.
Market Samurai was one of the first keyword research tools I came across back in the day around 2009, so it's been around for quite some time now and to my knowledge they still update and support it.
What I like best about it is that it is an Adobe Air application, which means it runs on both Mac and PC and that it's a one time only price, no recurring charges.
Market Samurai is actually a suite of tools all combined into one easy-to-use software. It does keyword research as well as competition analysis along with several other features and functions.
The easiest way to learn all about the features is to visit the Noble Samurai Dojo and watch all the video tutorials they have put together. From there, you can download the software, which has a free trial. But, when you download the trial, be prepared to purchase it within the next couple days, because if nothing has changed since when I invested in it a few years back, you should be presented with a special discounted offer a few days into your trial. That's the lowest you'll ever be able to purchase Market Samurai and if you don't take action, in order to get the same price, you'll need to download another copy using a different email address.
All in all, Market Samurai is a worthy investment if you are building lots of niche affiliate sites and authority SEO sites and you're looking for an easy-to-use tool to give you some insights into which keywords would be easiest for you to go after for whatever niche or keyword you are targeting.
Market Samurai is kind of like a swiss army knife and keyword research is just one of its features. If you're looking for a tool that is centered solely around helping you find targeted long tail keywords suggestions and ideas that you can easily rank for, I suggest Long Tail Pro.
Help desk software. Boring, I know. But eventually, you may get around to needing a solution for it in your online business. Especially if you are servicing thousands of customers either with: evergreen products, membership or continuity programs, or SaaS services.
There are certainly several options out there when it comes to help desk and support softwares, but one of the ones that has definitely stood out to me as a customer over the years is Kayako. Several large brands are clients and I've seen a number of big internet marketers who use their service and have been for several years. So, if you're in the market for a robust and scalable help desk solution for your growing online business, definitely check out Kayako.
As an alternative, if you're just looking for a quality FREE help desk and support solution, and you're a bootstrap business and not quite at the point where you actually need to hire someone yet, then I would recommend Freshdesk, since they have a forever free plan.
To start any sort of business online or offline you're going to need tools, supplies, and resources. And while year after year it gets easier and easier to find free tools and solutions that rival some of the established paid tools, sometimes the free resources available aren't all that great a quality.
The good stuff just costs. And that's fair. However, thanks to the creation of deal sites several years ago, it's made it much more affordable for people to get some of the things they want and need, but for far less than they would normally pay for them.
MightyDeals is one of those sites. If you are involved in design or development in any way, you may want to subscribe and put this on your list of bookmarks of sites to check regularly or at least once a week. They have a great selection of deals, but many times the deals have an expiration...so if you miss it, you miss it.
Another great deal site that is more geared toward online marketers is AppSumo. They used to be a lot more aggressive with the deals they served up, but now generally are a bit more selective and only share a few new deals per month, instead of bombarding your inbox like some other deals sites.
Traffic is the lifeblood of any online business. And traffic comes in all shapes and sizes. There's premium traffic, there's cheap traffic, and then there's straight up junk bot traffic. And each one has a different way you can leverage it and use it to your benefit.
Today I want to share one that falls into the cheap traffic source category. It's called Adfly. Adfly is a great resource if you're looking for scalable, geo-targeted traffic for very cheap. You can buy country-specific traffic in several different verticals, and they have an extremely easy-to-use dashboard.
And on the flipside of the advertising side, Adfly also allows you to be a publisher. Now, unfortunately I don't know how to game the publishing side to make lots of money since most of their verticals are PTC (paid to click), however their banner advertising IS on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions model), which could present some opportunities for anyone who might want to go out there, maybe throw up a banner code on their site, and drive some super cheap hits to it to see if they can make it profitable.
But, if you're looking for a cheap, reliable, and scalable traffic source to scale to for either improving your Alexa ranking or maybe trying out some CPA offers, definitely consider Adfly.
If you're involved in SEO in any capacity, whether it be for yourself or for clients, and you want to be the most effective, then you definitely should consider investing in certain SEO tools to help reverse engineer your competition so you don't waste your money and time going after keywords and terms that you have no chance of ranking for any time soon.
Some of those tools include SEMrush, Majestic, Ahrefs, etc. They're all certainly great tools, but if you add them all up it, before you know it you'll be paying several hundred dollars each and every month, which starts to cost quite a bit over time.
One resource you may consider if you're considering investing in some or all of the tools I just mentioned above, that can help you save hundreds of dollars each year is Scrapebrokers. With Scrapebrokers you get logins/access to several popular search engine marketing training tools and software, as well as lots of additional resources and training that can help you succeed in SEO and give you an edge over your competition.
When it comes to ranking in Google and attracting free traffic from the search engines, it's a whole lot easier to go after longer tail keywords, since they're far less competitive. The hard part is figuring out what those long tail keywords actually are.
Thanks to easy-to-use tools like HitTail, you can quickly find hundreds of relevant long tail keywords you can target and rank for that are related to the niche of your site and the traffic that you're already getting. This will help you go after and capture the other 70% of search engine traffic that makes up the majority of queries people are searching for.
Mobile apps and web apps, especially SaaS, have become increasingly more and more popular over the past several years. So, if you're involved in online marketing in any capacity, it's a pretty wise move to start figuring out how you can take advantage of this ever increasing trend and grab your own piece of the pie.
Unfortunately not everyone is a programmer or a designer. But don't let that stop you.
There's tons of programmers you can outsource your idea to. But you do have to be able to explain it to them.
So, if you're an excellent designer, great. You can mockup some designs for your programmer. But, if you're not the greatest designer in the world, you might consider a solution like Balsamiq.
Balsamiq makes it fast and simple to crank out professional looking wireframes of your web and mobile apps, helping you to communicate the important features and functions of your idea, which you can pass on to your programmer.

When it comes to SEO, there are two important factors. Content and links. You have to have great content, ideally an article with more length works better over the long term than one that is short. And then you want to have more high authority backlinks than your competition, if you want to outrank them.
That's basically it.
The problem is that most marketers sacrifice on the content side. When, really, you need to put more effort into creating or outsourcing very high quality articles...because you can always buy more links. But you don't want to send a ton of backlinks to crappy content.
So, if you are building authority niche affiliate websites and are doing SEO to help get them ranked to get siphon as much free organic traffic to your content, I would highly recommend using BKA Content.
They are certainly not the cheapest, but when you are looking for the highest quality content, that is who I would choose. If you're just building sites to monetize with things like Amazon Associates or Google AdSense, then you can afford lower quality content. And for that you can definitely go with more cost effective writers at places like iWriter, MorningArticles, and Fiverr.
On the flipside, when you do get your content written, whoever you decide to go with to outsource, for some really simple services for getting high quality and large amounts of backlinks to your sites, check out these resources: The Hoth, Link Emperor, and Blackhatlinks.
Traffic is the lifeblood of any online business. And one of the fastest ways to get traffic to a new website is to buy it. However, most popular traffic sources such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. just are cost effective, at least for beginner marketers without a large budget.
Luckily there are more affordable solutions where you can buy traffic to the tune of hundreds of thousands for real human visitors per month for much less than top tier traffic networks.
There are several of these networks that exist, some come and go. But one that has been around for several years now and allows you to scale up to hundreds of thousands of visitors each month is Revisitors.
They have a very easy-to-use site as well as reasonable traffic package prices for both regular traffic as well as adult traffic.
The top thing that you can possibly do as an online marketer, no matter what it is that you're selling, is to build an email list. Email has been around for years, and has proven to be the most stable way to build a sustainable online business.
Why?
Because with email marketing you're essentially building an audience. An audience that you can tap into and ping any time you want to get the word out about something.
Think of it kind of like owning your own Huffington Post or CNBC or FOX News. It's really no different. And it's super powerful.
Behind every top 6, 7 or 8-figure plus online marketer I know, lies email marketing. It's the backbone of their entire success.
So, there's no reason why YOU shouldn't be building an email list too.
Sadly, up until this point, especially for newbie internet marketers, it's been kind of challenging. There wasn't a lot of information and tutorials and courses out there on exactly how to go about building a list rapidly, you just knew it was something you should be doing. And on top of that, most of the "solutions" you sort of had to "Frankenstein" together to get them to do what you wanted.
Well, now, with tools like ConvertKit, it's crazy simple for even beginners to get started. And inside their powerful tool, they make it easy to build out custom landing pages, as well as segment your lists, for even more powerful results and conversions.
The only things you'll need in addition to ConvertKit is targeted traffic. For this I recommend checking out my traffic page for a list of top traffic sources. Also, if you're looking for a more powerful selling tool for creating things like upsells, and membership sites, I recommend Clickfunnels.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is really fairly simple. It all pretty much comes down to high quality, relevant content, and authority backlinks linking to that article or piece of content, to let Google and all the other search engines know that that particular piece of content is the most relevant piece of content online, and for that reason the search engines should pay attention and rank it on page one of their results.
But knowing WHAT to do and understanding HOW to do it or actually having the motivation to do it are two different things. I mean do you really want to "work" on all the areas of your online business? Or would you rather just outsource and delegate all the tedious tasks like writing and backlinking, and instead only have to focus on organizing, managing and overseeing everything?
That's how I like to do it.
And trust me, the older you get and the more money you start to make, you'll likely feel the exact same way.
Because it just doesn't make sense for you to have to do all of the "work" in your business. Forever.
So, this is why I recommend outsourcing.
Now, when it comes to articles, quality trumps quantity any day. So, you want to outsource to a service that you can trust, is somewhat affordable, and that you can scale with. One place I would start for beginners, who are maybe starting off by building niche affiliate websites is iWriter. Their site meets all of the above criteria. There are different levels of writers that you can choose from, but for your money niche affiliate sites I would stick with 4-5 star writers only. You only need a handful of relevant articles about a niche or topic to be way more relevant that most other sites out there.
When you start to have some solid affiliate commissions roll in, and you're looking to get into different more specialized niches and are looking for much higher quality articles, I would recommend BKA Content. Now, they're not cheap, but they are worth it, and they can definitely handle plenty of volume as well.
And as far as the other half of the SEO equation (linkbuilding), no need to beat your head against the wall or spend an arm and a leg on some expensive SEO course or all the tools, resources and services you need to assemble your own PBN (private blog network). Instead, just take all the pain and guesswork out of things and go with a service like The Hoth (I recommend their Blitz package) or checking out a service like Link Emperor.
That's pretty much it. SEO basically comes down to content and links. Build a few sites. Rinse, lather, repeat. And then SCALE.

When I first came across SamCart, I loved it (because it met all my criteria of a great product), but I didn't really know how I could benefit from using it myself.
Basically what you're getting with SamCart is a SaaS platform that sits on top all your other integrations (such as your autoresponders, membership sites, payment processors, etc.) and allows you to effortlessly craft high converting checkout pages for the products and services you're selling all with the click of a button.
SamCart also gives you actionable insights into your business that can help you scale, such as metrics like lifetime customer value, which is super important when it comes to knowing how much you can spend to acquire a new customer.
It has quite a many features and they're continuing to add more and more over time. The price point started out at about $67/month and they've been slowly raising that year after year. So, if you want to get locked in and grandfathered at the lowest rate possible, click here to learn more and create your free trial to test it out.
Some of the biggest marketers in the industry use SamCart and recommend it to their audiences.
I do think it's an exceptional product for running a super lean online business. And SamCart makes it easy to scale what you're doing with all the metrics it shows you in it's dashboard. However, it may not be for everyone.
I think SamCart is ideal for the marketer who has a handful of products and is mostly driving paid traffic to those offers and just needs really simple, high converting checkout pages to ensure the highest conversions possible.
But if I had to recommend a single solution that does several of the same things that SamCart accomplishes, but also allows you to create membership sites (without having to use a third party integration), I would also take a look at Clickfunnels.

So, when it comes to article spinners, previously they didn't really get me all that excited. I thought they were mostly for restructuring already crap content, and pumping out thousands of articles mainly for SEO spamming and blackhat linkbuilding softwares...which they certainly can be.
However, I only had that opinion of them because I didn't really know of another way to use them, and I personally don't do a lot of blackhat spammy linkbuilding myself. Sometimes I do outsource it :) But I'd prefer not to actually be the one building them myself.
I like to focus on creating more high quality articles that are well-written and give a lot of value, and then SEOing the shit out of them with lots of powerful links to push them up in the search engines.
But the thing is, getting a high quality, well-researched article written ain't that cheap. It's definitely worth it, but it ain't cheap, if you're looking to build a huge site of high quality articles.
So, that's when I stumbled upon Article Forge. I LOVE this tool. While it's not going to produce expert level content, what makes it unique from other article spinners is that it actually GENERATES unique content from scratch (at the push of a button).
This is incredible.
You can even have it setup to automatically post to as many different blogs and websites as you want, which saves you additional time.
